ABOUT 4MEDPLUS AND 4PROPLUS
The 4MedPlus Corporation and 4ProPlus Training Division is based in Chicago, IL and was founded in early 2010 to address a growing need for carefully curated and professionally developed online learning for a busy population.We have been successful in assembling an experienced staff, subject-matter-expert (SME) channel and advisory board to help support that mission. Our growing community of forward-thinking distribution partners help to create a comprehensive network of industry relationships to deliver unique educational content.
Our select content is designed for professionals, gig workers, managers, consultants, students and staff level employees, challenged to stay abreast of technology shifts and stay relevant in a constantly evolving economy. Working with subject matter experts (SMEs) and training developers who are active in their respective fields, the strategy team updates all courses in real-time, as changes occur. Courses are assembled into comprehensive certified titles, however all individual lesson modules are also available for convenient custom assembly.
MANAGEMENT AND CONTENT DESIGN TEAM
Wendy Whitmore; Chief Learning Officer
Wendy Whitmore has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare and information technology industries. She currently acts as the Chief Learning Officer for the 4Medplus Corporation. Her experience includes hospital strategic planning; training management for hospital contracts; and director of consulting for a healthcare technology firm. Wendy co-developed the 4Medplus model in an effort to lead the industry by aggregating and creating unbiased, accessible content on HIT, regulatory and compliance topics through quality online education.
Sarah Glynn; Chief Operations Officer
Sarah Glynn has extensive experience in both the life sciences and healthcare verticals. As the Chief Operations Officer for 4MedPlus, Sarah is responsible for all corporate operations, financial management and content distribution. Sarah also manages all ongoing partner relations and acts as the corporate liaison to professional industry accrediting bodies.
Mark Byrne; Director of Relationship Management
Mark is an experienced relationship management leader with a proven track record of success developing and executing corporate partner programs and building comprehensive client outreach and communication systems. His industry engagement includes work with innovative software companies, financial services groups and medical product distributors. He provides oversight to the ongoing 4MedPlus relationship growth initiative.
Melanie Bender; Manager of Visual Design and Corporate Branding
Melanie has developed many critically successful educational websites in her 25+ years as a designer. She is also an accomplished mobile designer with a recent project featured on Apple’s iTunes store as a “New and Noteworthy educational app”. She has contributed significantly to the look and feel of the 4MedPlus brand.
Megan Morris; Director of Multimedia Content and Marketing Communications
Meg is a communications professional with 16 years+ experience in brand marketing, successful outreach campaigns, events and tradeshow planning. Her background includes advanced video production and promotion, social media marketing and public relations. She brings a wealth of skills to the 4MedPlus team, contributing to engaging video design and delivery as well as creative student outreach.
William Presor, MBA, MEd; Manager of Instructional Design and Development
Bill is a senior industry professional with a Masters Degree in Education and many years of experience in the instructional design industry. His deep understanding of learning processes and student engagement have contributed to the 4MedPlus learning model and he continues to improve the unique 4MedPlus modular design.
Dina Cintron, MEd, MA Bilingual Education; Manager of Instructional Language Translation
Dina is an education leader with 19 years of bi-lingual instructional experience. As a bilingual coordinator she has provided extensive Spanish translation services for many educational programs. She oversees the growing 4MedPlus course content with optional Spanish language delivery, providing review, edit and production skills.

Donna Grindle, (SME): Senior Content Developer: Cybersecurity, HIPAA and Security Subject Matter
Donna’s 25 years of compliance experience has included programming, project management, training and titles such as Programming Manager, Director of Operations and Vice President of Operations before starting her own security company (Kardon Compliance) in 1998. She has an extensive history of achievement in the Security, HIPAA and Healthcare IT field where she has spent most of her career as a consultant specializing in healthcare.
Mike Semel, (SME): Senior Content Developer: HIPAA Specific Subject Matter
Mike is a Certified Business Continuity Professional, HIPAA Professional, HIPAA Administrator, Security Compliance Specialist, and Health IT Specialist. He has managed tech companies for over 30 years; served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for a Critical Access hospital and a K-12 school district. He has also chaired the CompTIA IT Security Community and is an active member of the FBI’s Infragard program.
Joy Rios, MBA (SME): Health IT and Incentive Program Topics Content Developer
Joy has managed compliance and incentive programs for clients for many years. She has successfully attested on behalf of multiple medical sites for MU and is an industry leader in the field. She is a skilled senior project manager with areas of expertise including EHR configuration & customization and MACRA/MIPS training. Joy has authored industry manuals and courses and manages her own HealthIT Consulting Company (Chirpy Bird, LLC)
Trisha Conway, RN, BSN, (SME): MACRA-MIPS Instructor and Content Editor
Trisha Conway is the founder of (eHealth Consulting). With 24+ years of nursing and IT experience, she is well suited to bridge the great divide between technology and clinical practice. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Trisha has worked in Medicare compliance and billing and health informatics with primary areas of expertise in MU/PQRS through MACRA-MIPS, EHR functionality, workflow, vendor training & integration.
Lorene Loyale, CIC (SME): Health & Safety, Infection Prevention Content
Lorie Loyale, CIC is a dedicated hospital infection preventionist and has been a certified infection prevention professional for over14 years. Her depth of knowledge in this area from the perspective of an industry leader has been invaluable in the development and rollout of the 4Med Health & Safety Compliance category of learning. Her continued contribution is a key component to the growth of content in this area for 4Med.
Jocelyn Mason, DVM (SME): Professional Veterinary Content
Dr. Mason holds a degree from Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine and a Bachelors degree in Animal Sciences from the University of New Hampshire. She is also an experienced educator, lecturing at various veterinary universities on topics of Compassion Fatigue and Improving the Euthanasia Experience.
Jennifer Cimbala, LMHC/LCAC (SME): Professional Mental Health and Addiction Content
Jennifer Cimbala is a practicing Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC). She has edited mental health focused content for 4MedPlus and reviews all compliance related content in areas of addiction and medical practice in behavioral health. She works in the field in private practice and remains focused on the improvement of resources for the addiction and mental health communities.

David Gorter, Corporate President
Mr. David Gorter is a serial entrepreneur and visionary investor with almost 30 years of hands-on experience in enterprise oversight and investment in educational support ventures. In addition, Mr. Gorter has served on numerous academic boards and brings a wealth of educational management history. David and the Gorter Foundation group provide insightful guidance to the management team with a focus on streamlining operations and developing a tightly focused delivery model.
Cole Younger, Corporate Advisor
Cole Younger is the managing director of Arnold Venture Group. Cole provides oversight and guidance to the 4MedPlus management team regarding growth strategy and fiscal responsibility. He received his degrees from the University of Washington and his experience includes work with Pacific Horizon Ventures and Bancshares Capital. In 2007, he founded Vintage Lane Venture Partners, an RIA firm which specializes in venture capital investments.
